Aislinn Cover Art Detail
Finished: May 18, 2007 The art of Aislinn used for the chapter 1 cover page. This was inked by hand, the flat colors were added in Photoshop, and the shading was all done in Corel Painter. @__@ But I'm quite pleased with the results! This is Aislinn's almost-finalized "thief" design. The dagger she's holding is actually called a "rondel," which is just a fancy name for a medieval dagger with a round handle. The sheath for it is under her boot flap, you can sort of see it. That big, hulking jewel on her skirt also isn't decoration - it serves a purpose. But what could THAT be, hmm? All in due time... |
