Drawn: April 27, 2007 This was spawned from consuming waaay too much iced coffee before bed. =P I couldn't sleep, so I went on a manga-downloading binge. I actually didn't find the series I was looking for (Peach Girl), but I did scan over a few other volumes, and they inspired me. Here we see Kobal and Aislinn, and this is the angriest I've ever drawn Kobal. I'm not sure what he's angry about, but obviously it's pissing him off and deeply troubling to Aislinn. There's no story behind this; it's all about the expressions. Kobal's usually just so happy and perky when I draw him, seeing him angry is almost like seeing another character entirely. And yes, this was done completely in Paint - I didn't feel like opening Photoshop. The joke was on me, though, since Paint's image compression SUCKS, so I had to use PS anyway to save it. XD The only Photoshopping I did was changing the hue of the background (it was originally blue, but red fit so much better). |
